Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches.

A few days ago I wanted to run UK for my legplates and a sweet crossbow. I joined a pug group and off we went! One of the group memebers was a hunter and he asked me if anyone minded if he took the bow and I was like, "Um, yea! That bow is why I am here!" and then I cought hell for it from him because I wasn't a hunter. Maybe I am an asshole, but I am not going to give up my loot roll to a non guildie for something I want as bad as I want that bow. Period.

Unfortunately for both of us it didn't drop anyways, but my legplates did! I lost the roll to a pally though and that sucked bad. I have run that instance for weeks whenever I can find a group to go with me, waiting for both to drop and I was so close!!! Oh well, it was a fair roll and I am ok with that. Good job, Mr. Pally!

Last night I wanted to run it again for yet another try, but my guildies wanted to run CoS for the drake on the timed run. Cool, I need the Drake too, so I joined. I made a fool out of myself when I didn't realize the group started the instance without me and couldn't remember how to get there. /facepalm

We made GREAT time, our best ever, and the drake dropped!!! Rok, Quinn and I all rolled on it and Quinn got it. It turns out that Rok has been running that instance like I have been running UK, only all he wanted was that drake. I thought for a minute he might explode into little Roc bits when he lost yet another roll on his beloved Drake. I could definately relate.

In other news I am pretty close to getting my Elder title, and even closer to getting my Explorer title! I really want to work on those tonight but I think it would be a better move to do some mining and try to make back some of that money that Scry lent me for my epic flying. Yup.
